When vibrodiagnostics are needed
The main objective of vibrodiagnostics is to discover the actual condition of equipment and thus enable maintenance planning, minimize unnecessary repairs, and prevent emergency conditions (downtime).
Vibration diagnostics/vibrodiagnostics (vibration measurement) is one of the methods of disassembly-free, non-destructive diagnostics for rotating machines and equipment. A good knowledge of the technical condition of the machine will help you decide how much longer you can operate the equipment, or opt instead for downtime and repair. Vibration analysis reveals such conditions as imbalance, misalignment, bearing or gearbox damage, etc.
